How to choose the best packaging for your fries
Choosing the right packaging is crucial for every industry, but the most important is undoubtedly the home delivery business, as it directly affects the quality of food. In fact, research has shown that if packaging becomes an important factor, consumer satisfaction will increase by 30%. But most importantly, using different packaging materials can affect the freshness of the food when it reaches the customer's hands. We have designed suitable packaging to ensure that your Aviko fries are delivered to consumers in perfect condition!
Packaging layer
Home delivery usually has three layers of packaging. Firstly, there are delivery boxes, pallets, or packaging bags used to load each item in the order, typically made of paper, aluminum, or polystyrene. Then there are the bags that hold these items, and finally there are insulated delivery bags that may contain multiple orders.
First layer packaging
As expected, the first layer of packaging has the greatest impact on maintaining the quality of food after it reaches its destination. Important things to remember include:
- Breathability is crucial to ensure that food does not become damp and lose its crispness, especially French fries!
- However, excessive ventilation can cause the product to cool down too quickly, which is why our specially designed packaging boxes have specially designed ventilation holes.
- Do not overfill the french fries, as this can increase the likelihood of the food becoming damp.
- Napkins are not conducive to reducing humidity and may even hinder ventilation in some cases, so please package napkins separately from food.
Our R&D center has tested various types of packaging bags to demonstrate their effectiveness under delivery conditions. You can see that paper bags are second only in terms of maintaining good condition of food, while any non ventilated packaging box made of any material is much less effective.

If you are currently using an airtight packaging box, we recommend that you replace the packaging or at least puncture the packaging before delivery to allow the food to breathe.

Second/Third layer packaging
The second layer of packaging is to put orders together, but our experiments have shown that using paper bags instead of plastic bags helps with product ventilation and freshness. Equally important, do not over package.

The third layer is usually not within the control of the foodservice enterprise, such as packaging bags provided by third-party food delivery platforms. However, our research also indicates that this has little impact on the product.
Sustainability

Providing customers with disposable packaging that is easy to recycle or uses sustainable materials is very important from a brand perspective, and it also helps to contribute to protecting the earth. Although customers obviously won't order food because of its exquisite packaging, if they feel that the packaging is not environmentally friendly, they may not choose either.
Social platformization

Finally, never forget the power of social media! Choosing packaging that is aesthetically pleasing and matches the brand tone will make customers more willing to share their order pictures online and advertise for you for free. Choose paper packaging instead of plastic and metal packaging, and try to choose recyclable materials that look natural as much as possible. Consider using some stickers for brand exposure.
