In May 2025, on the grasslands of Xilinhot, Inner Mongolia, everything is moving towards renewal. Aviko (Inner Mongolia) Food Co., Ltd. has ushered in an important milestone moment. As a key component of Aviko's production system in China, the Aviko China Frozen French Fry Processing Expansion Project has been officially completed and put into operation, marking a new stage of Aviko's localized production layout in the Chinese market.

The new production line put into operation this time will effectively enhance the overall production capacity of Aviko in China, further enhance its ability to serve local and overseas foodservice customers, and help the enterprise accelerate the expansion of the global foodservice market.

China and the Netherlands join hands to jointly launch the new line
 

Under the theme of "Start running to 2030", the opening ceremony was officially held on the morning of May 22nd at Aviko (Inner Mongolia) Food Co., Ltd.
The Deputy Ambassador of the Dutch Embassy in China, leaders at all levels of Xilingol League and Xilinhot City Government in Inner Mongolia, representatives of the senior management of Royal Cosun Group and its subsidiary, Aviko B.V., management of Hongyuan Group, and supplier representatives were invited to attend the event and witness this exciting moment with everyone.
 

At the ceremony, guests from all parties delivered speeches congratulating the successful completion of the project and actively looking forward to the prospects of cooperation in the Sino Dutch food industry. Subsequently, the corporate promotional video was broadcasted on site, comprehensively showcasing the strategic layout and future vision of Aviko in China.
With the successful completion of the ribbon cutting ceremony, the new production line is officially announced to be put into operation.

Investment of RMB 1 billion, dual line parallel release of new production capacity

The second frozen potato product production line put into operation this time has a total investment of RMB 1 billion and a designed production capacity of 15 tons/hour, forming a synergistic complementarity with the existing first-line (7 tons/hour).
After the new production line is put into operation, the annual total production capacity of Aviko China is expected to increase to 160,000 tons, laying a solid foundation for Aviko China to provide more stable and efficient product supply.

In addition, in terms of production technology, the new production line has undergone multiple intelligent and sustainable upgrades, including:

  • The automatic grading system for raw materials greatly improves the utilization rate of raw materials;
  • Fully automated packaging line, optimizing packaging process and reducing labor costs;
  • Energy saving and environmentally friendly design, fully benchmarking against national green factory construction standards.

The above measures not only improve the operational efficiency of the factory, but also provide strong guarantees for the sustained and stable output of products in terms of food safety and standardization. At the same time, the promotion of the new production line project will also drive the development of local potato planting and inject new vitality into the regional economy.
